When things are dark and cold, and you feel as if you're being dragged along by uncaring forces out of your control, it's important to take some "you time" -- dig in and relax! Stop to thorougly sniff that homeless man who's digging through the garbage dumpster behind your building!
(This wisdom expressed to me more often than I'd like, usually at 12:30 in the morning during Scout's last trip downstairs for the evening. The bigger and scarier the homeless guy, the better ...)
