Yes it's true--yesterday was Scout's TENTH birthday! Beagles have a long lifespan--they say 15 years but we know more than one person whose beagles lived to be 19, so Scout has some good years ahead of her. It's just so hard to believe she's 10! She's definitely getting white around the muzzle and her black spots are no longer completely black, but she's just as frisky as ever. Digory has taken years off of her life (in both the good and bad way!). She loves to frolic and play, although not as often as Digory (age 2) would like. But still, she's very active and is a healthy weight and everything. She celebrated her birthday with her favorite--a pig's ear. Happy (slightly belated) Birthday Scouter!
