Why Do I Always Get the Strange?

My doctor prescribed Clarithromycin for my sinus infection. Among the list of potential side effects is "bad taste in mouth." Guess what I have? Why do I always get the strange side effects? Yuck.

Actually, all the "mycins" give you a bad taste in the mouth. The worst taste is the brassy taste like you've been playing the trumpet.
