By popular demand, Kevin has put up a whole new set of Theo pictures! Click on the image below, and you can always reach them on Theo's Picture Page.
This afternoon we headed to Old World Village in Huntington Beach (it's like Alpine Village, except it's called Old World Village and it's in Huntington Beach. And there's more there.). They are celebrating Ocktoberfest like most Germany-themed Villages are. One feature of their Ocktoberfest that is missing in many others is the dachshund races, or Wiener Dog Races. Is there anything cuter than a bunch of badass dachshunds racing for hot dogs? No, no there is not. Except Theo, of course.
And there's this athlete, whose jaunty felt cap proved to be his downfall as it slipped over his eyes and forced him to lose his race:
Theo had his 9-month pediatrician visit today! He weighs 24 lbs 13 oz (95th percentile) and is in the 95th percentile for head circumferance and is off the chart in height. The pediatrician was very pleased with his size, growth, and development. Except now we need to work on clapping and waving. I thought he was going to get some shots today but it turned out it was just a toe stick to check for anemia (perfectly healthy).
